A friend recently told me "just because you don't know what to believe, doesn't mean you don't believe". His words have been whispering to me ever since...Everywhere I go I am confronted with arguments for and against leaps of faith and the creative power of belief...a magazine article here, a conversation there...it wasn't long until the topic showed up in a songwriting session. Still wrestling with what to make of these incongruous lyrics...It all sounds true, but if one line contradicts the other, can it be? If peace is the coming together of all things, than within the contradictions there is inherently concord...So I am slowly peacing things together...lyrically and in life...
